Next Pokemon Figures Are X and Y Protagonists Serena and Calem

Kotobukiya announced the next two Pokemon figures in its ArtFX J series, and they are the X and Y trainer protagonists Calem and Serena. Each one comes with one of the two starters from the 3DS installment. Calem is entirely new. He will cost 15,400円 when he debuts in Japan in January 2026, then $119.99 when he comes to the US in February 2026. Serena will also cost 15,400円 when she returns in Japan in December 2025, and she’ll be $119.99 when she comes back in the US.

Serena should look familiar, as she first joined the ArtFX J line back in 2017. As such, if you find the original run of her, it’s expensive due to being out of print. She wears the basic trainer outfit from the game, and she comes with a Fennekin. The Fennekin isn’t attached to the base. So these two can be displayed together or on their own.

Here’s how that one looks:

Calem is joining the collection for the first time. His partner for this run is Froakie. Like Serena, the starter isn’t attached to the base. So they can be posed together or apart. Also, since his is entirely new, getting it from the Kotobukiya US store means you also get a Hitoshi Ariga illustration as a bonus.

This is how that figure looks:

The Serena Pokemon X and Y ArtFX J figure returns in Japan in December 2025 and in the US in January 2026, and Calem will appear for the first time in Japan in January 2026 and in the US in February 2026. Pre-orders for both close on August 5, 2025. The games are available on the 3DS worldwide.
